When solo, having same queue and ending up against full premade teams with other solos would suck. In the Target field there should be a path to the game’s installation directory. By default it should be: C:Program Files (x86)Guild Wars 2Gw2.exe, but it might be different on your computer. Now add -repair parameter after the quotes in the Target field. Your Target field should look like this: C:Program Files (x86)Guild Wars 2Gw2.exe -repair.

Crafting is simpler/not as deep as GW2. Any char can craft most items (you need the Summerset expansion if you want to craft jewellery). Gaining crafting skills requires skill points which are earned from questing or hunting for things called skyshards (3 of these give 1 skill point).

Guild Wars 2 is not like other MMOs in this regard. There's no gear treadmill; the best gear in the game is ascended, and ascended has been the best gear in the game basically since release. The next best gear is exotic, and it's extremely cheap and accessible on top of only being around 10% behind ascended. 6Whz.
